Ingredients
- 1 package of Villaggio® Toscana Extra Soft Sausage Buns
- 6 All-Beef Premium Hot Dogs
- Olive Oil, for brushing
- 3 medium Potatoes, cut into Small Cubes
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 1/2 tsp (2.5g) Oregano
- 1/2 tsp (2.5g) Basil
- 1/2 tsp (2.5g) Rosemary
- 2 pkts of Provolone slices (180grms each)
- 1/2 cup (125g) spicy brown Mustard
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or bring grill to medium heat
- Lightly oil grill or broil Hot Dogs for about 5-7 minutes until charred on all sides, put aside to keep warm
- Heat up oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and add Potatoes, frying until browned on all sides for about 5-6 minutes
- Remove onto paper towel to absorb excess oil
- Add Onions, Pepper and Seasonings to skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until vegetables have softened
- Add Potatoes back in and season with Salt & Pepper to taste
- Spread mustard on each bun
- Layer with Provolone, Hot Dog and top with Potato mixture
- Add more mustard, if desired
