Bacon Brie Fig Brioche Burger

It’s a trip to France in burger form and sure to become your family’s new favourite!

Ingredients

  • 4 Villaggio® Artesano™ Brioche Hamburger Buns
  • 1 lb (454 g) ground chuck
  • 1 lb (454 g) ground sirloin
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 lb (454 g) French brie
  • 12 slices of crispy cooked bacon
  • 6 -8 tbsp (90-120 mL) fig preserves

Directions

  1. Combine the chuck and sirloin with the salt and pepper to taste
  2. Form into four (4) patties and refrigerate for 1-2 hours
  3. Before cooking, brush with olive oil
  4. Grill or BBQ patties for approximately 3-4 minutes
  5. Flip and top with brie
  6. Cooking for 3-4 minutes, or to preferred doneness (approximately 3-4 minutes for medium rare)
  7. Grill Villaggio® Artesano™ Brioche hamburger buns
  8. Slather bottom of Villaggio® Artesano™ Brioche hamburger buns
  9. Top with patty and bacon
