Hot Honey Hummus Toast

With Villaggio® Rustico™ Sourdough as the base, these vegetarian toasts with hummus, feta and hot honey make a flavourful lunch that’s sure to please any hungry crowd.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Villaggio® Rustico™ Sourdough, toasted
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) hummus
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) diced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) halved grape tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) hot liquid honey
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) finely chopped fresh dill

Directions

  1. Spread 2 tbsp (30 mL) hummus on each toasted sourdough slice.
  2. Top each with cucumber, tomatoes and feta.
  3. Drizzle with hot honey and garnish with dill to serve.

Tips: Substitute the dill with chopped fresh parsley, basil or cilantro if desired.
Swap out the edamame for cucumber slices for a bit of crunch.
