Tomato Mozzarella Open-faced Sandwich
The sweetness of tomatoes and the creaminess of fresh mozzarella pairs perfectly with the Villaggio® Rustico™ Harvest Multigrain bread, for a truly crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients
- 4 slices Villaggio® Rustico™ Harvest Multigrain
- Olive oil cooking spray
- 2 medium (240g) heirloom tomatoes, chopped
- 1 (120g) fresh mozzarella ball, torn
- 1 tbsp (15ml) balsamic reduction
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp (2g) fresh basil leaves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Spray each bread slice with cooking spray. Toast in the oven for 10 mins. Set aside.
- Place tomatoes and torn mozzarella chunks on each piece of toast.
- Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with balsamic reduction and garnish with a few basil leaves.
