Cheesy Garlic Loaf

  • 1 loaf of Villaggio® Classico Italian Style Thick Slice White Bread
  • 1 cup (250mL) Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 cup (250mL) Provolone
  • 1 cup (250mL) Gruyere
  • 1 cup (250mL) Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 2 – 4 Large Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 4 tbsp (20mL) Parsley, chopped
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
  2. Prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment or foil
  3. In a small bowl, combine cheeses together, set aside
  4. Stir softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper together to combine, then, spread evenly over one side of each slice of bread and reassemble the loaf over a large piece of aluminum foil
  5. Sprinkle cheese mixture between bread slices and wrap up sides and top with foil
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes, then, open up the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese browns and the bread toasts up
  7. Option to broil for 30-60 seconds, if needed
