  • Breakfast Sandwich:
  • 4 slices Villaggio® Sesame Bread, toasted (and buttered, if desired)
  • 4 cooked breakfast sausages, halved lengthwise
  • 4 fried eggs
  • Grilled Veggies:
  • 8 asparagus stalks, trimmed
  • 4 cremini or white mushrooms
  • 1 red pepper, quartered
  • 1/2 small onion, sliced in rounds
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Grilled Veggies: Preheat grill to medium-high; grease grate well. Toss together asparagus, mushrooms, red pepper, onion, oil, salt and pepper. Grill vegetables, turning occasionally, for 5 to 8 minutes or until grill-marked and tender.

Breakfast Sandwich: Top each slice of bread with sausage, grilled veggies and fried egg. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if using.
