With creamy smooth avocado, salty rich prosicuitto and fresh basil, this stylish sandwich can served as a starter or lunch.
Ingredients
- 2 slices Villaggio® Whole Wheat Bread, toasted
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) good quality balsamic vinegar
- Pinch each salt and pepper
- 1/2 avocado, thinly sliced
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 2 basil leaves
Directions
Stir mayonnaise with balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Spread evenly on each toasted bread slice. Top with avocado slices, prosciutto and basil.
