Store-bought hummus with the addition of chopped fresh herbs makes the perfect topper for toasted Villaggio® Artesano Bread.

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) prepared Hummus
  • 2 slices Villaggio® Artesano Bread, toasted
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) each chopped fresh basil, chives and parsley
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) hemp seeds
  • Pinch sea salt


Stir together hummus, basil, chives and parsley. Lay toasted bread slices on a surface and spread with hummus. Top with cherry tomatoes and top with hemp seeds. Sprinkle with sea salt.

Tip: For a decadent version, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
